Winnie Bears (2-3 year olds) October

Language/Reading: Stories and Vocabulary- Small Hands and Small Feet
We read many books related to the five senses and the purpose for each of our facial features. We also learned the words for eyes （眼睛）, eyebrows （眉毛）, nose （鼻子）, mouth （嘴巴）, ears （耳朵）, hands （手）, and feet （脚）. For Halloween, we read books related to Halloween and pumpkins.

Mathematics: Counting and Patterns
We continued to work on patterning and reinforced counting and recognizing characters. For Halloween, we counted pumpkins along with the book, “Five Little Pumpkins.”

Science: “Me” Book
We made a “Me” book where we drew our facial features and our whole body. We explored the appearances of different features and compared their differences and similarities.

Music: Review
We reviewed all the songs we have learned so far.

Body Movement: Morning Exercise
We have been doing movements with our facial features following instrumental music.

Art: Halloween
We made spider webs with glitter paint, pumpkins with colored construction paper, and cats using our hand prints. We also enjoyed a great party with costumes, music, and snacks.
