2009 – 2010 Admissions Process (Pre-K to 2nd Grade)
Our priority application deadline has passed. However, we continue to accept applications for available spaces and encourage interested families to complete and submit an application.

2010 – 2011 Admissions Process (Pre-K to 3rd Grade)
Minimum age requirement to enter the school is 2 as of September 1 and the child must be potty-trained.
1. Attending one of the informational meetings or open house sessions is considered essential.
A complete application consists of all the items in 2 and as applicable in 3 below.
2. Mail the following items to Shu Ren International School before January 15, 2010:
- The completed Application Form 2010-11
- $75 application fee (check payable to Shu Ren International School).
- A photo of the applicant
3. If the child has already attended a school, give the Student Evaluation Form (Pre-K applicants, K applicants and Grade 1-3 applicants) to your child’s present teacher along with a stamped envelope addressed to Shu Ren International School.
4. For pre-K and K applicants, please make an appointment for observation of the student in a small play group to determine the child’s developmental level, auditory and language development, gross and fine motor skills, emotional and social development. This will happen on Saturdays in February.
5. Acceptance letters are mailed on March 12 and contracts are due on March 19. Should you receive an acceptance letter, a deposit representing 10% of the tuition will be required by the “Return of Contract” date in order to hold a space. Families with part-time students will pay the prorated amount. Families who need financial assistance will be exempt from the capital levy.
