]]> Shu Ren is now registering students for our Mandarin Immersion Summer Camp. We will hold separate camps for Pre-K and for elementary students. Students will learn Chinese language and cultural knowledge through fun, immersion based activities including music, dance, crafts, field trips, and more. In the Elementary Level camp, each two-week session will follow a different theme that explores California’s unique natural wonders while incorporating dance, music, poetry and drama. All sessions will include hands-on learning experiences and field trips. The camp will be held in four two-week sessions from June 25 – August 17. Register now for an early-bird discount!

It's time to order your yearbooks for the 2011-2012 school year. In order to get our yearbooks before the end of the year, we will need to know how many to order, much further in advance. We just found this out and apologize for the rush. If you would, please fill out this simple form by Wednesday, May 16th to let us know how many yearbooks you'd like to order for the 2011-2012 School Year. Thanks.

]]> Shu Ren will be holding a number of admissions events this fall. All families interested in applying for admission must attend both a school tour and an open house. Open Houses are scheduled for the following dates:

Thursday, October 20 – 6:30-8:30pm
Saturday, November 19 – 10:30am – 12:30pm
Tuesday, December 13 – CANCELLED
Saturday, January 7 – 10:30am-12:30pm

An Open House is an opportunity to learn about Shu Ren’s unique Mandarin immersion curriculum and its future plans. You are invited to visit the classrooms, talk with teachers and current parents, and learn how a Shu Ren education can benefit your child.

School tours are also scheduled every Tuesday morning throughout the Fall and offer an opportunity to visit classrooms and see our Mandarin immersion curriculum in practice. Please register for School Tours and Open Houses here.

Shu Ren will also be participating in the EBISA School Fair on October 11, 7:00 pm, at the Doubletree Hotel, Berkeley Marina.
